• High Resolution, 6000 Element Bundle
• Large Focusing Range
• Semi-Rigid Flexible Sheathing
• Illuminated and Non-illuminated Versions
Fiber optic technology is put to good use in this instrument for inspecting hard-to-reach areas. Semi-rigid
sheathed 0.5mm diameter glass fiber imaging bundle enables scope to bend around obstacles while maintaining
shape. Imaging through the bundle occurs because fibers are aligned coherently-both ends retain position
exactly relative to each other. Incorporates thousands of tightly packed fibers, but bends repeatedly to 3" radius
without damage. Plus, 25X eyepiece offers near-infinite focusing range and wide angle image. Both scopes can
work with C-Mount Video Coupler. Illuminated version has disposable light source handle (batteries included)
and light guide adapter for use with ¼" diameter fiber bundles (0,312" end-tip dia.) and illuminators. Accepts
right angle viewing attachment, listed in matrix.

Spherometer
• Conforms to S.A.E. and Military Specifications
• Manufactured to ANSI-B-46.1-1985
• A Composite Set of 30 Standard
Our set of surface roughness standards contains 30 samples of 7/8" x 3/8" electroformed solid nickel plates for
quickly evaluating the surface finish for six of the most common machining methods. Markings for each of the
lapping, reaming, grinding, milling, and turning standards are in AA (micro-inches) and the metric equivalent, Ra
(micrometers). Each surface type is consistently reproduced from masters and is accurate within ±10% of the
nominal value. An ideal tool for quality assurance labs, engineering departments, drafting rooms, and machine
shops, the standard gives the designer or operator a realistic idea of the feel, appearance, and texture of machined
components. Instructions and CLA/Ra/AA correlation graph are included. The standard is packaged in a
handy 6" x 3" wallet carrying case. Calibrated unit includes long-form NIST traceable calibration report.
• Used for Measuring Convex or Concave Radii
• Easy to Use
• Standards Included for Calibrating
Set includes six measuring heads for measurement of surface radii ranging from 2.5 mm to 1000 mm. The smallest
sample diameter that can be tested is a 4 mm convex or an 8 mm concave. Seven standards are included: two
spheres (radius 3 mm and 5 mm), five plates (radius ranging from 10 mm to plane for convex surfaces and -10 mm
to -200 mm for concave surfaces). The radius is a function of the size of the measuring head used and the dial
gauge reading. Tables are included to allow for quick determination of the radius.
