pyroelectric sensors. The LabMax Pro is the most advanced power and energy meter and is compatible with
thermopile, optical, and pyroelectric sensors, as well as the PowerMax Pro high speed sensor technology.

Coherent® Thermopile Power Sensors are ideal solutions for measuring the average power of continuous wave
lasers or pulsed laser energy. Thermopile sensors operate by absorbing and converting incident laser radiation
into heat, which then ows to a heat sink. The temperature di erence between the absorber and heat sink is
converted into an electrical signal by a thermocouple junction. Unlike semiconductor sensors, thermopile sensors
feature high power capability and at spectral response.

Coherent® Beam Position Sensing Thermopile Power Sensors are all-purpose sensors designed to measure
the average power or energy of a wide variety of continuous wave or pulsed lasers. Coherent® Beam Position
Sensing Thermopile Power Sensors utilize a quadrant thermopile detector disk to sense the position of the
laser beam on the detector surface while measuring the laser power. Coherent® thermopile sensors can operate
across a wide range of input powers, and do not saturate. Note: The LM-20 is designed for embedded use and
must be mounted on a heat sink.
