Cylindrical Microlens Arrays
• Standard AR Coating for 790 - 990 nm
• Can be Used in Combination to Create Custom Collimation Options
Fast Axis Collimators are compact, high performance aspheric cylindrical lenses designed for beam shaping
or laser diode collimation applications, while Slow Axis Collimators consist of a monolithic array of cylindrical
lenses designed to collimate the individual emitters of a laser bar. Fast Axis Collimators feature aspheric cylindrical
designs and high numerical apertures allow for uniform collimation of the entire output of a laser diode while
maintaining high beam quality. To meet an application’s unique collimation needs, Slow Axis Collimators can also
be used with Fast Axis Collimators for custom collimation combinations.

• Creates Even Illumination When Used in Pairs
• Integrated, Monolithic Design
Our multi-lens arrays are perfect for illumination and
projection systems. The arrays can be used in pairs
to provide even brightness across the illuminated
field. The arrays are monolithic, yielding higher
transmission and superior stability when compared
to cemented or plastic varieties. Custom versions
available for OEM quantities.

• Generate Non-Gaussian Line Patterns
• Ideal for Light Homogenization
• Excellent Performance from 193 nm - 2,5 μm
Cylindrical Microlens Arrays are used to homogenize a variety of light sources, including lasers or high power
LEDs. Unlike Square Microlens Arrays, which generate spot patterns, Cylindrical Microlens Arrays yield nongaussian
line patterns, and are ideal for welding, drilling, or laser ablation applications from the UV to IR. Additionally,
these lenses can be used as fast axis collimators.
