Matching
The Edmund Optics® Ultrafast Autocorrelator by
APE® is used to characterize ultrafast laser pulses
originating from Ti:sapphire and Yb:doped lasers.
Featuring a built-in Two Photon Absorption (TPA)
detector, this autocorrelator is ideal for measuring
ultrafast femtosecond and picosecond laser pulses at
wavelengths from 700 to 1100 nm. The highly sensitive
TPA detector allows for measurements of ultrafast
laser pulses by eliminating the need for angle
tuning of the SHG nonlinear crystal. The Edmund
Optics® Ultrafast Autocorrelator by APE® is designed
with a compact form factor and can be mounted onto
an adjustable optical mount for easy incorporation
into any ultrafast optical setup. Each autocorrelator
ships with a traceable standard in accordance with
NIST measurement traceability specifications and
ready to use data acquisition software.

These high stability variable frequency optical choppers
each include a set of chemically blackened
photoetched chopping discs. Beam diameter is limited
to 0,75 mm when using the 200-slot disc and 1,0
mm when using the 40 slot mini disc. The easy-tointerchange
blades are made of non-magnetic, half
hard brass and can be used in combination. Chopping
frequency is set by adjusting a ten-turn dial or
by applying an external DC voltage to the BNC input.
Reference output is a TTL pulse and is in-phase with
chopping action. The 5 digit led display gives a direct
read-out of the chopping frequency. Power supply included.
Choppers are often used together with lock-in
amplifiers. Note: Voltage selection switch mounted
inside unit must be changed to match region if operating
outside the intended region.
