Laser Safety Barriers provide protection from exposure to harmful laser radiation in benchtop systems. These
barriers are designed to separate multiple experiments on a single table or to shield an area from debris that
can damage sensitive optical components. Manufactured from anodized aluminum, these protective plates are
available in various sizes with a standard 2 mm thickness, and are compatible with both Metric and English
threaded lab tables and benches. Laser Safety Barriers have a 20 mm mounting lip and include all necessary
mounting screws and hardware for assembly. Note: Laser Safety Barriers should never be used as a replacement
for Laser Safety Eyewear or any other forms of personal protective equipment (PPE). These are intended
to be used along with any other forms of PPE your workspace or laboratory requires.

Acktar Blackened Laser Beam Traps and Blocks feature proprietary coatings designed to absorb incident laser
light from the ultraviolet (UV) to the long-wave infrared (LWIR) spectrums. These Acktar coatings can achieve
a reflectivity factor of less than 10-6 (beam trap designs) and have laser damage thresholds up to 20 W/cm2. An
M6 tapped hole on both the beam trap and beam block designs allows for easy mounting to optical posts for
integration into optical systems. Acktar Blackened Laser Beam Traps and Blocks are available in multiple sizes
to accommodate small or large laser beams, increasing overall lab safety by reducing the risk of laser damage.
The Flat Beam Block design features back screws for a 92 mm cooling fan attachment, allowing for multiple
blocks to be coupled to cover large areas.

Laser Alignment Beam Blocks are lab devices that function as an all-in-one beam block, alignment screen,
and tool holder. These beam blocks are laser engraved with a target grid on their front surface that is labeled
with metric graduations for quick alignment or leveling of laser beams. Their diffuse black anodized aluminum
surfaces block incident low power visible laser light, minimizing back-reflections and increasing the
overall safety of low power laser setups. Laser Alignment Beam Blocks feature a magnetic base that allows
for sturdy placement into systems on optical tables, as well as through holes for mounting to non-magnetic
surfaces. Multiple sizes of Laser Alignment Beam Blocks are available and all designs feature slots for holding
Allen wrenches or other frequently used tools. Note: These products should not be used with infrared
lasers due to the high reflectance of anodized aluminum at infrared wavelengths.
