Optical fiber alignment mounts can translate optical fibers terminating in an FC connection.
Useful for telecom positioning and for aligning FC Fiber Optic Patchcords,
they feature ±1,5 mm travel in both the X and Y-axis. Differential micrometer models
feature 2,5 micron resolution. Kinematic version #55-478 provides additional ±2° tilt
adjustment in each axis.

The Laser to Fiber Coupling System provides easy connection for fiber optics with an
FC termination and features ±2° tilt adjustment for fiber alignment. It also features
±1,5 mm differential micrometer driven X-Y translation with 2,5 μm resolution and
an objective mount with 10 mm Z-axis translation to maximize the laser to fiber coupling
efficiency. 10X microscope objective included.

Spatial Filter Movements
Spatial filter movements feature precision adjustments designed to ensure a Gaussian beam profile when used with a laser. The
spatial filter removes unwanted multiple-order energy peaks from the laser beam, passing only the central portion of the beam.
Edmund Optics® spatial filter movements accept RMS-threaded microscope objectives and pinholes. Choosing the correct
pinhole and objective combination will yield optimal results. The following selection guide helps to determine the appropriate
aperture size by input laser beam diameter and microscope objective used.
Note: Requires one pinhole aperture and one microscope objective (sold separately).
