SpectraRad™ Xpress Spectroradiometers
Laboratory Spectrometer
InGaAs NIR Spectrometers
• Measure, Characterize, and Calibrate Light Sources
• Compact Closed System for Field, Industrial, and Lab Applications
• Calibrated Against NIST Traceable Standard
SpectraRad™ Xpress Spectroradiometers are compact spectrometer systems confi gured with input optics and
calibrated for the ability to perform light source analysis. The input optics feature a preinstalled PTFE nearcosine
corrector with high transmission in the visible and near-infrared and a large aperture, allowing close to a
180° fi eld of view (FOV). The spectrometer system is then calibrated against a NIST traceable light source for
absolute spectral irradiance. The data acquisition software provides basic data acquisition functions as well as
advanced features such as timeline recording, data smoothing, color measurement and external triggering. It is
capable of reporting key photometry, radiometry and colometry specifi cations such as center, dominant, and
centroid wavelengths, intensity, chromaticity, color temperature, color rendering index (CRI), and much more.
SpectraRad™ Xpress Spectroradiometers are ideal plug-and-play turnkey solutions for fi eld, industrial, and lab
applications such as color analysis, solar monitoring and simulation studies, light source characterization (lamp,
LED, laser), lighting analysis, photostability testing, photobiology and photochemistry.
• Cost-Eff ective Performance from 380 - 750 nm
• Lightweight, Compact Design
• USB Cable and Software Included
The Laboratory Spectrometer is a cost-eff ective solution to a variety of spectroscopy applications. The Laboratory
Spectrometer utilizes a 1024 element detector along with a built-in 16-bit digitizer to provide approximately
2.3nm spectral resolution from 380 - 750 nm. These spectrometers are USB powered for simple system integration.
Note: USB cable and software are included. Software features the ability to capture single or continuous
spectra, dark subtraction, and intensity comparison.
• Wide Spectral Response Ranges
• High Resolution, Sensitivity, and Dynamic Range
• Thermo-Electric Cooling (TEC) for Low Dark Noise
InGaAs NIR Spectrometers off er high sensitivity and dynamic range and utilize high performance linear In-
GaAs sensors with thermo-electric cooling (TEC) to achieve low dark noise for demanding NIR applications.
Each spectrometer features an SMA905 termination for fi ber optic input with high speed USB 2.0 readout and
auxiliary GPIO ports. With confi gurable sensor operation modes and integration times of 200 μs to greater than
64sec, these NIR spectrometers can detect even the weakest infrared signals. Typical applications include chemometrics
and absorption spectroscopy, chemical, mineral and moisture analysis, telecommunication, laser
characterization, coarse ellipsometry, produce inspection, and defense.
InGaAs NIR Spectrometers come complete with data acquisition software. The software provides functions
of single or continuous data acquisitions in raw, dark subtracted, transmission/refl ectance and absorbance
modes, as well as advanced features such as timeline recording, data smoothing, background subtraction, peak
analysis and much more.
