AdlOptica Shaper (piShaper) Flat Top Beam Shapers are refractive eld mapping optical systems that convert
collimated Gaussian input beams into collimated at top beams with a uniform intensity distribution and at
phase front. Due to the eld mapping optical design, the even intensity distribution of the converted beam is
stable over great distances making it ideally suitable for holography, microscopy, and system integration. With
no internal focusing, they are also the perfect solution in applications such as material micromachining, welding,
and engraving that require high power lasers. These AdlOptica Shaper Flat Top Beam Shapers are o ered
in common YAG, ber laser, and CO2 laser sources, operating over a de ned wavelength range for laser tuning.
Achromatic versions are designed to be used with multiple laser sources.

AdlOptica Focal-Shaper (piShaper) Q Flat Top Beam Shapers are used to transform Gaussian beams to airy
disk pro les, allowing for control of the intensity distribution of the laser spot. The output beam is shaped with
nearly 100% e ciency to a at-top or doughnut beam pro le. Focusing a beam after a Flat Top Beam Shaper
leads to the loss of the at top pro le at the focused spot. AdlOptica Focal-Shaper (piShaper) Q Flat Top
Beam Shapers provide an alternative solution by generating an Airy-disk beam pro le that can be focused to
obtain a at top spot. These beam shapers feature a compact design with inner and outer threading, making
them easy to integrate into equipment. AdlOptica Focal-Shaper Q Flat Top Beam Shapers are advantageous
for beam shaping in micromachining applications, including scribing and PCB drilling, as well as micro-welding
applications. Multiple models are available at Nd:YAG wavelengths with compatible input beam diameters as
small as 3 mm and up to 23 mm.
