aperture mounts for a secure mechanical
support. The mounts also fit into various
optical assemblies. Each 9,5 mm diameter
pinhole is sealed within a 25 mm diameter
black-anodized aluminum mount. Mount
is clearly labeled with pinhole aperture
size for easy identification. Note: Aperture
Centering to Mount ±125 μm.

Our assortment of available substrates makes these apertures a versatile option
for a variety of laser applications. Possible applications include spatial
filtering and general laser aperturing. All apertures have an outer diameter of
3/8" (9,5 mm). One side is shiny for high reflectivity while the other is blackened
for absorption. The ceramic apertures are white on both sides. The aperture
thickness and high reflectivity of the materials enable them to withstand and
quickly dissipate increased irradiation from high-energy lasers. Densities as
high as 100 MW/cm2 (130 MW/cm2 for molybdenum and Tungsten substrates)
have been used without damage to the apertures.
