• High Contrast, Refl ective Design
• Excellent Visible and NIR Performance
• Superior Durability Under High Temperatures and Humidity
TECHSPEC® Wire Grid Polarizing Film is ideal for applications requiring high contrast polarization, including
pico projectors, polarizing beamsplitters, and heads up displays. TECHSPEC® Wire Grid Polarizing Film is designed
to transmit the required polarization state while refl ecting the unwanted state. Since these polarizers have
spectrally fl at performance at angle of incidences up to 45°, they can also be used as polarizing beamsplitters.
Additionally, TECHSPEC® Wire Grid Polarizing Film features excellent durability in high temperature or humid
environments and provides excellent performance in the visible and NIR spectra from 400 - 1200 nm. Note:
Due to the wire grid being exposed, special care should be taken when handling to prevent damage to the
polarizer. Custom options available on request.

• 38% Transmission of Unpolarized Light Laminated for Increased Durability
• Good Color Reproducibility
Visible Linear Polarizing Laminated Film is ideal for a range of microscopy, display, and imaging applications.
A single sheet features 38% transmission of unpolarized light. When two sheets are crossed, transmission reduces
to 0,74%. If used at 550 nm, the crossed transmission is less than 0,01%. Two sheets can also be used as
a variable attenuator. Note: For rectangular sheets, the transmission axis is parallel to the fi rst dimension listed.

polarized light between 760 and 2200 nm. Multiple rectangular sizes are available to accommodate
light sources that range from low power NIR lasers with small beam diameters, to larger LED light beams.
Near-Infrared (NIR) Linear Polarizing Film is used in industrial imaging and laboratory applications, i.e. to
attenuate the intensity of low output NIR lasers and LEDs or to reduce glare in images recorded using NIR
photodetectors. The polarization axis is labelled on the protective masking of the polarizing polymer fi lm.
Note: Remove protective masking before fi rst use.
