High Contrast Glass Linear Polarizers
• 10,000:1 High Extinction Ratio
• Polarization Axis is Reference Marked
• Anti-Reflection Coated to Minimize Reflection Loss
TECHSPEC® High Contrast Glass Linear Polarizers offer a high extinction ratio, and are available in a range of
sizes. A single polarizer transmits about 25% of randomly polarized incident light from 400 - 700nm. The glass
substrate is anti-reflection (AR) coated to minimize loss of light due to reflection. These polarizers are ideal for
a broad range of industrial and laboratory applications.

UV, VIS-NIR, and NIR High Contrast Polarizers
• Multiple Wavelength Ranges for UV, VIS, and NIR
• >100,000:1 Contrast Ratios Available
• Ideal for Use in Harsh Environments
UV, VIS-NIR, and NIR High Contrast Polarizers offer both versatility and performance over a wide range of
wavelengths. These polarizers contain uniformly stretched silver nano-particles in a 220 ±25μm thick sodalime
glass laminated on a thicker soda-lime substrate for increased durability. UV, VIS-NIR, and NIR High
Contrast Polarizers are ideal for harsh environments, are resistant to UV-radiation and chemicals, and can be
safely used in humid environments.
