TECHSPEC® 1λ UV Fused Silica Windows are precision
manufactured using UV-grade synthetic fused silica.
In addition to superior transmission, the synthetic
fused silica of these optical windows exhibit higher
thermal properties, exceptional purity, and excellent
environmental durability for demanding applications.
• High Transmission from 200 to 3500nm
Infrared Fused Silica Windows provide high, flat transmission
across the visible and near-infrared spectra
and are available with Corning 7979 fused silica or
Suprasil® 300 substrates. These windows have a low
OH ion content, resulting in increased transmission
between 1400 - 2700nm where UV fused silica (Corning
7980) experiences significant transmission losses
due to absorption. Infrared Fused Silica Windows are
ideal for laser material processing or medical laser applications
using Nd:doped or 2 micron lasers.
